What's the difference between Clinical Supervision and Clinical Consultation?

Clinical Consultation is for registered clinicians who are seeking a safe and confidential space to discuss their clinical work, and obtain peer-level support for your practice.  Together, we can discuss different approaches, engage in self-reflective practice, and build your skillset, confidence, and capacity.  As stated above, counselling can be an isolating profession.  I'm here to help you feel a little less alone.

Clinical Supervision is for students, interns, or registered clinicians.  A Clinical Supervisor holds a higher level of responsibility for your practice.  They want to ensue the care you provide to the people you serve is safe and ethical practice.  They often have oversight of your practice, and are a gatekeeper for the profession.  To register in the profession, a Supervisor will observe and be able to attest to your work. This can include observing sessions, reviewing documentation, and supporting ongoing development.
